Confirm the monthly brutto and the contract typeA contract of employment (umowa o pracę) is what this calculator models. Civil-law contracts and B2B arrangements are taxed and insured differently.
File the PIT-2 formIt tells your employer to apply the monthly tax reduction. Without it, more tax is withheld each month and the difference is settled only in your annual return.

Ask about benefits and their tax treatmentPrivate medical care, sports cards and meal cards are common and are usually taxed as income.

Questions before you sign

Is a B2B contract better?

It can mean a higher net figure, but you pay your own contributions, lose employment protections and carry your own costs. It is a different arrangement, and this calculator does not model it.

When is the youth relief lost?

In the year you turn 26, from your birthday onward. Income above the relief's annual limit is taxed normally even before then.
